Capricorn Full Moon

System Check

The Capricorn Full Moon arrives on June 29th putting the spotlight on matters of achievement, responsibility, accountability, authority and purpose.

ο»Ώ

Capricorn understands that meaningful accomplishments are the results of repeated efforts, lessons learned, countless decisions, and responsibilities accepted along the way. It’s not something that happens overnight.

This Full Moon reveals the consequences and outcomes of past actions, and what your choices have produced.

🧱 A Reckoning With Reality

Saturn the ruler of this Capricorn Full Moon sits in Aries, pressuring both the Sun and Moon. The Universe is doubling down - putting enormous emphasis on Saturn themes: responsibility, accountability, consequences, maturity, leadership, commitment, authority, rules, systems, and structures.

But Saturn in Aries brings something new to the table – self-leadership, personal sovereignty and authority.  This isn’t about authority from anything outside of yourself, this is about leading your own life, taking ownership of your choices, actions and your future. You don’t need permission or validation. You don’t need to be rescued.

No one is coming to save you.

Maybe that sounds a bit harsh, but that’s Saturn for you. 🀷‍♀️

Saturn tests your commitment, your discipline, competence, and patience, along with your willingness to take responsibility for your choices and the life those choices have created.

Saturn is interested in mastery and wants you to put your time in and to keep showing up long after the novelty has worn off. Saturn also brings tangible rewards for doing just that.

Nothing is promised with Saturn—everything is earned. Saturn’s rewards are measured by effort and what you’ve actually built—not on potential or your good intentions.

πŸ—οΈThis Full Moon brings a reality check, testing the systems and constructs you’ve built your life around, and if they can stand up to pressure, revealing the strengths and weaknesses and whether things are sustainable for the long haul. This lunation calls you to consider what you're building, why you're building it, and whether it can support the future you're working toward.

🌊 Neptune in Aries: The Soul of the Matter

Neptune’s influence on this lunation is also tough to ignore—it provides the vision, inspiration, imagination, and spiritual connection that give purpose to your efforts. While Saturn and Capricorn both are interested in achievement and results that last— it’s Neptune that reminds you that success without meaning feels pretty hollow.

Saturn and Neptune are working together to create something practical and sustainable that’s also aligned with purpose, intuition and inner knowing.

Neptune in Aries brings the birth of a new dream, a new direction – one that’s calling to you even if you don’t know exactly how to get there.

This can bring a sense of uncertainty as something new wants to emerge while at the same time, you’re struggling to define what that actually is. You’re being asked you to have faith in what you can’t quite see yet. The path may not be entirely clear, but things begin to take shape as you trust your intuition, follow your inspiration, and move toward what resonates with you

This Full Moon tests what you’ve built— your achievements, the commitments you’ve made, the responsibilities you’ve taken on or the goals you’ve set out on and whether it’s aligned with purpose, meaning and reflects who you really are.

✨πŸͺ½An Angel Carrying a Harp

The Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon is "An Angel Carrying a Harp."

The image speaks of harmony, attunement, spiritual resonance, and the relationship between the earthly and the divine.

And how fitting for the combined symbolism of Saturn and Neptune.

This symbolism invites you to consider whether the life you’re building is in tune with the vision that lives in you—not just with external goals and responsibilities, but also in alignment with a deeper sense of purpose and meaning.

This Full Moon also carries a couple notable energy shifts:

πŸ”„ Mercury Retrograde in Cancer:

Returning to the Emotional Foundation

Mercury stations retrograde at a critical degree of Cancer the same day as the Full Moon until July 23rd. During this phase, the mind moves inward as old memories and feelings surface while past decisions and plans return for review.

Cancer concerns:

  • home
  • family
  • emotional security
  • belonging
  • roots
  • conditioning

Something foundational is calling you to take another look before moving forward. Consider how you really feel. Mercury retrograde can also bring people from your past back into your orbit now.

🦁 Jupiter Enters Leo: What’s True in your Heart of Hearts

This Full Moon marks Jupiter's arrival into Leo for the first time in twelve years  — one of the most significant shifts surrounding this lunation.

As one chapter closes, another begins.

Over the past year, Jupiter's journey through Cancer emphasized emotional growth, nourishment, feelings of belonging, home, family, and creating a greater sense of safety and security in our lives.

Some of you may have focused on strengthening your foundations, tending to emotional needs—or even just figuring out what those emotional needs are, maybe you’ve been upping your self-care game, or making changes involving home and property.

Now the focus shifts.

For the next year, Jupiter in Leo is all about reconnecting with the heart —and it brings plenty of opportunities to do so. This is a cycle of creativity, courage, self-expression, leadership, visibility, fun, enjoyment and authentic living.

You’re encouraged to embrace your gifts and talents, rediscover forgotten passions, and step more fully into yourself.

This energy brings opportunities for greater happiness, creative fulfillment, recognition, and personal growth—especially when you have the courage to show up authentically and lead with your heart.

⚑ Fasten Your Seatbelts

The Capricorn Full Moon offers you a moment of reflection, assessment, and accountability, but the pace is about to pick up dramatically with the energies that follow.

Allow me to break it down a bit for you:

On June 28, Mars enters Gemini for the first time in nearly two years. And that alone picks up the pace as Mars in Gemini is a busy energy, it likes movement and multitasking. Then, on July 4th , Mars meets up with Uranus, creating one of the most unpredictable energy signatures of the summer.

Mars acts as an activator while Uranus awakens, disrupts, liberates, and surprises. Together, they bring a buzz of excitement to the atmosphere which can coincide with breakthroughs, breaking free, sudden developments, technological advances, startling news and rapid changes of direction. This influence can bring scenarios that alter the trajectory of a story that’s already in progress and “I didn’t see that coming” moments.

Because they’re meeting in Gemini, it brings up themes involving information, communication, media, transportation, narratives, and the spread of ideas, news and information. Minds can change and stories can shift quickly while new information is coming and going rapidly. What seemed certain one day may look entirely different the next.

This energy carries excitement, innovation, volatility, and momentum. It can feel electric. Restless. Unpredictable.

Use caution while driving, operating machinery or working with electricity and be mindful of your surroundings.

Then, as we move deeper into July, Jupiter enters the picture.

Mars lights the fuse- Jupiter amplifies the signal.

As July unfolds, Jupiter, along with the outer planets begin forming significant aspects with each other, suggesting that something much bigger is emerging on both the personal and collective level. This period feels especially momentous as these heavy hitting collective planets are forming meaningful relationships from their newly occupied signs. It’s as if we're witnessing the opening chapters of an entirely new story being written in real time.

Pay attention to what unfolds throughout July. The events, insights, opportunities, and turning points showing up during this phase may ultimately reveal themselves to be way more weighty than they first appeared to be.

This Capricorn Full Moon feels like a systems check. Testing the structural integrity of the foundations you've built, revealing what is solid, what needs reinforcement, and what may no longer be capable of supporting the rapid changes unfolding around you and the future that's beginning to take shape.

Get your ducks in a row.

Tend to the foundations.

Make the necessary adjustments.

Because the pace is about to pick up.

Something is shifting in a very real way, and this Full Moon offers an opportunity to prepare before the next chapter begins to unfold.
