Taurus New Moon
Where Resonance Becomes Reality

🌑 The Taurus New Moon on May 16th marks a significant shift:
It’s the first New Moon in Taurus without Uranus in the sign in over seven years.
Let that land.
Since 2018, Uranus in Taurus has been:
- disrupting your sense of stability
- shaking loose your sense of self-worth
- revolutionizing your values
- rewiring your relationship to money, security, the body, and even the Earth itself
- awakening your senses — sometimes gently… most often not
Wherever Taurus lives in your chart is where you were forced to adapt, awaken, and evolve over the last several years.
This isn’t subtle energy — Uranus doesn’t do “slow and steady.”
It brings:
- sudden changes
- unexpected losses or gains
- breakthroughs and breakdowns
- a complete recalibration of what you thought was safe, secure or reliable
For some, this showed up as:
- financial shifts
- changes in work or resources
- a deeper connection to the body — or a forced confrontation with it
- a pull toward land, nature, simplicity, sustainability
- redefining worth — not just money, but self-worth
And honestly, some of it felt chaotic and destabilizing, cracking you open in ways you didn’t ask for or expect, but at the same time, it woke something up in you.
🌱 AND NOW…
This New Moon lands in Taurus without that constant zap of electricity running through it.
And that matters now because the awakening has been in progress and you’re in the aftermath of the disruptive phase. It’s no longer about what needs to change but instead, what you do now with what’s been revealed.
🧬 INTEGRATION TIME
This is where:
- your new values are not just realized — you start living them
- stability is being rebuilt — but differently this time
- choices are made from your new awareness
This integration is quieter than all of the attention grabbing chaos. You’ve already been awakening, now it’s time you start living like it. You’re not the same person you were before. You can’t go on as if nothing has changed, clinging to outdated values and trying to recreate old versions that no longer fit. That won’t work.
🌿 CERES CONJUNCT THE NEW MOON
With Ceres so closely connected to this lunation, this is about nourishment and what actually feeds and sustains you.
This gets right to the root:
- nourishment — physical, emotional, energetic
- family, tribe, feelings of belonging
- mother/child bonds
- food, land, gardening, seeds, soil and the Earth itself
- women’s cycles and the body’s natural rhythms
- self-worth and self-acceptance — especially around receiving, providing and having or being enough
🔥 MARS CONJUNCT CHIRON IN ARIES
This conjunction feels initiatory. Activating. Like crossing a threshold.
And it feels significant at this first New Moon in Taurus without Uranus for some years, not because the awakening is over — but because something has already shifted and come online.
Over the past several years, while Uranus moved through Taurus, awakening the senses in ways you may not have words for. In many ways, the body became the receiver and messenger of these energy waves. Intuition sharpened and the nervous system became more sensitive. Some people became radically aware of food, energy, land, sound, frequency, overstimulation, depletion, resonance. Others completely changed what they value, what they consume, how they live, what they trust, or what they can no longer tolerate.
This lunation feels like the beginning stages of embodiment after an awakening. The living form of these newly awakened senses and values. The realization that you cannot unknow what you now know, you cannot unfeel what your body now recognizes, you cannot force yourself back into energetic environments, spaces, relationships, rhythms, or ways of living that no longer resonate. Period.
People and situations are either an energetic match – or they’re not and you’ll feel which is which.
There’s something here about harmonizing with the frequency you’ve already tuned into.
The Sabian Symbol for Mars and Chiron:
“A celestial choir singing.”
That symbolism feels deeply connected to frequency, vibration, resonance, harmony — not just metaphorically, but energetically. As though you are being tuned or something is tuning itself, being recalibrated.
The image of a celestial choir suggests individual voices becoming part of a larger harmonic field. There’s something deeply mystical in that symbolism, while occurring along with a Taurus lunation that’s so connected to the body, the Earth, the senses, and embodiment itself. It’s like something cosmic is moving through the physical vessel as your body becomes the instrument and your nervous system recalibrates.
The Taurus New Moon itself carries the symbol:
“A Spaniard serenading his señorita.”
Again, we find sound. Music. Resonance.
The Universe speaks in patterns — suggesting that part of this New Moon’s message is about tuning in and learning what truly resonates with you now, physically, emotionally and energetically.
Now your senses have become refined enough to immediately discern and distinguish from what is nourishing, what is at odds, what drains your life force, and what strengthens it.
Mars conjunct Chiron in Aries may bring initiations through action, healing, confrontation, physical experiences, bodywork, acupuncture, energetic clearing, anger, courage, or direct encounters with old wounds — but underneath it all there is a sense that something larger is occurring. It’s as if the Universe is trying to bring you into greater alignment with your own signal. Your own song. Retuning your frequency to match the larger Cosmic rhythm. This period brings a vibrational initiation into living according to what has already awakened within you.
At the same time, Venus in Gemini forms a supportive angle to Mars and Chiron in Aries suggesting that part of this recalibration arrives through communication. Certain conversations, messages, meetings, or exchanges can feel strangely synchronistic.
Words carry frequency and the right words at the right moment opens doors, confirms a knowing, sparks healing, or helps to shape something you’ve felt but struggled to say. As these newly awakened senses come online, many may find themselves drawn toward people, ideas, and connections that feel resonant rather than purely interesting.
New Moon Blessings and Good Vibes to ALL!
